YOU DONT know UNTIL YOU _______ KNOW!
When was the first time you thought to yourself that you knew "enough" or you knew more than that person of authority? Were you 13? 16? 18? You might have even thought that you knew it ALL...

Later in life you would have these sudden revelations (usually at milestones 21, 25, 30, etc.)that now you REALLY know it all and you didnt know sh__ when you last decided that you did. This is one of lifes paradoxes.

I first heard the statement,"you dont know until you know." from my maternal grandmother and it seemed quite nonsensical to me at that time. The fact that Grandma was born and raised in the backwoods of Tennesee mountains made me think that it was just one of those sayings generated by uneducated hillbillys and wasn't meant to stand up to philosophical scrutiny.

At some point in my life I was trying to jumpstart the normal maturation process when I suddenly LEARNED what Grandma had been trying to tell me all those years ago. I am now willing to accept the fact that I will die not knowing everything. But, the day I stop learning is the day I start dieing.......
